Fire Agencies in Mendocino are all-hazard departments that respond countywide, providing mutual aid across boundaries, sharing resources and delivering services to ensure all residents and visitors receive emergency response for fires, medical calls, hazards, traffic accidents and public assistance. All Fire Agencies in Mendocino rely on volunteers to provide some portion or all of their services. Volunteers are the backbone of Mendocino County’s fire, rescue and first-line emergency response.
The dedication of our firefighters and emergency responders is the cornerstone of a resilient and safe community.
